Address Swallow Safety & Efficiency

FEES provides crucial information regarding one's airway protective behaviors (swallow safety) and the clearance of foods/drinks from the throat (swallow efficiency).

Develop Goals

With direct visualization of the swallow, patient-specific goals will be developed to address impairments in swallow safety and/or efficiency. The use of FEES allows our team to develop evidence-based goals for behavioral swallow intervention.

Re-Assess Progress

After a swallow exercise regiment is completed with your individual treating SLP, our team can be a part of your ongoing rehabilitation process with a repeat FEES. This is a convenient & objective way to provide a re-assessment of progress to further guide diet/treatment recommendations.
